Engineers Ireland to Tour UCC
UCC Visitors' Centre’s George Boole Tour guides visitors through the history of UCC; its first Professor of Mathematics, George Boole; and his significant contribution to Maths and the technology we enjoy today. During this tour, visitors meet George Boole and Queen Victoria, played by actors, who will regale them with the story of her visit to Cork in 1849.
On this occasion, the tour is being arranged for Engineers Ireland members and their friends and families as a special social event. This interactive tour is non-technical and will appeal to children and adults.
