In honour of George Boole’s 200th Birthday, UCC celebrated George Boole Day on November 2nd 2015. Professor George Boole is now known all over the world as the forefather of the Information Age. He was the first Professor of Mathematics at University College Cork and the inventor of Boolean Logic.
